| this was an experimental film shot and edited by myself in order to get to grips with the editing software i was using at the time - sony vegas pro. i have since moved on and am fluent in final cut pro and i'm learning the ropes of avid. |

| better than this - amv | october 2009 |
| i started out editing by putting together clips of my favourite anime (japanese cartoons) to music and entering these 'animated music videos' (amvs) into competitions at the armageddon pop culture expo. i won a few times and greatly enjoyed telling a story by manipulating others' footage. this particular amv combines some live action footage i shot with the pre-existing animated footage. |
